What this tool does
This tool generates random numbers for popular lotteries and custom formats. It fills all fields for you when you use Quick Presets. It also tracks your last five generations.
- Powerball uses five main numbers from 1 to 69 and one Powerball from 1 to 26.
- Mega Millions uses five main numbers from 1 to 70 and one Mega Ball from 1 to 25.
- EuroMillions uses five main numbers from 1 to 50 and two Lucky Stars from 1 to 12.
- Lotto 6 49 uses six main numbers from 1 to 49 and no bonus balls.
Numbers within one set never repeat. The label for bonus numbers changes based on the game.
How to use this tool
- Select a Quick Preset, or choose Custom for your own rules.
- Review the filled fields if you used a preset. Adjust any value you want.
- For Custom, set Minimum number and Maximum number for the main pool.
- Enter How many numbers for the main pool count.
- Set Bonus balls from 0 to 3. Leave at 0 for none.
- If Bonus balls is above 0, set Bonus ball max number for the bonus pool.
- Click Generate Lucky Numbers to create a fresh set.
- Read the result header, then note the main numbers and the bonus label.
- Check Recent Generations to view up to five past sets.
Input fields explained
- Minimum number. The lowest value in the main pool. The default is 1.
- Maximum number. The highest value in the main pool. The default is 49.
- How many numbers. The count of main numbers to draw.
- Bonus balls. The count of bonus numbers. Use a value from 0 to 3.
- Bonus ball max number. The highest value for bonus numbers. This field becomes active when you set bonus balls above 0.
Quick Presets fill these values to match each game format. You can still edit the fields after you select a preset.
What the output shows
- A header with the game name or Custom Lottery.
- Main numbers in ascending order for clear reading.
- A bonus label with its numbers if the game uses them.
- A time stamp that shows when the set was created.
- A Recent Generations list with up to five sets and times.
Bonus labels reflect the game. Powerball shows Powerball, Mega Millions shows Mega Ball, and EuroMillions shows Lucky Stars. Custom uses Bonus.
