For whole numbers, the range must fit the count. For example, 1 to 5 can give five values at most.

Decimal Places

Pick zero for whole numbers. Pick one to four for decimals.

The tool rounds each value to the selected places. It checks for repeats at that same precision.

Sort Results

Pick No sorting to keep random order. Pick Ascending to go smallest to largest. Pick Descending to go largest to smallest.

What the output shows

You will see a heading and a list of values. The list shows the numbers separated by commas.

A short note below states how many numbers were created. It then shows the range used.

• For whole numbers, the largest set size equals the count of integers in the range. For example, 10 to 12 gives three values.
• For decimals, the tool tries many draws to meet your count. Tight ranges or high precision can reduce the pool. It may return fewer values and shows a warning.
• Sorting only changes the order. The set stays the same.
