Use this random pairing generator to create pairs or small groups fast.

Add names and pick a size.

Click Generate Groups and you are set.

Group size now supports pairs, groups of three, and groups of four.

You will also see a short Instructions note near the tool.

What this tool does

The tool shuffles your list at random on each run.

It then splits names into your chosen group size.

Pairs show as A + B.

Groups show as A + B + C, and so on.

A heading above the list shows the group label for clarity.

A summary shows total participants and groups created.

Each run creates a unique order.

How to use this tool

1. Enter one name per line in the names box.
2. Pick a group size in the menu, choose 2, 3, or 4.
3. Click Generate Groups.
4. Review the numbered list under the heading.
5. Click Copy Results to copy the list to your clipboard.
6. Click Clear All to reset names and results.

How to read the results

• If one person remains, the tool adds them to the last group.
• If more remain, the tool creates one smaller group at the end.
